Symphonic atmospheric metalband Imperia has announced they will visit Belgium and The Netherlands during a “low country” club tour. At the end of Oktober 2021, this four piece outfit will visit four different venues in the north of Belgium and the south of Holland. It will be the first time Imperia will perform live after the pandemic shut everything down. This means it will be the first opportunity for Imperia fans to hear songs of Imperia’s most recent album The Last Horizon being performed live on stage!
Imperia was formed back in 2001 by singer Helena Michealson. IMPERIA’s music is full of vivacity, it is heavy, bombastic and orchestral, but it also contains elements of pure metal. The band is a true cross-border unit of musicians originating from different countries: Norway, Finland, Germany and Belgium.
In the early 2020 the band started recording the latest album and by April 2020 the recordings were finished. In the summer band met in Germany for a photo and video shoots. As always, Oliver Philipps took care of the orchestrations and Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered the album. The new album became the most epic and grand Imperia album ever and therefore it was decided to split it on 2 separate CDs. Almost 80 minutes of music varying from thrash metal riffs and guitar shred to epic cinematic athmospheres and intimate pianoballads are all included in this album. Imperia will visit four different venues in four days in Belgium and The Netherlands. The first part of this clubtour will start at 28th of Oktober 2021 in Antwerpen (B) and in the following three days Imperia will visit Breda (NL), Bree (B) and Diest (B) as well.
