Crimson Vial – All In Vain

Founded in 2022 and hailing from Sweden, the upcoming band Crimson Vial have successfully found a way of merging eerie orchestral theatre with heavy metal riffs at its core. Inspired by their affection for Halloween and all things wicked and freaky, no theme or time era is safe as the quartet get their claws on stories past. With the crushing bass tones of Esse and the intense blast-beats by Kevin, mixed with the cut-throat guitar riffage of Jojo and the intense singing courtesy of Liam – Crimson Vial is ready to waltz and take on the world, one blood drop after the other…

After releasing three previous single’s, the time has come for Crimson Vial to release a brand new song. All In Vain has been released as an independent release on YouTube and Spotify and therefore within reach for each and every one to enjoy!

Like the previous releases of this energetic 4 some, the song is well thought out. The vocals of Liam bring something special to the table. Recognisable and distinctive and a perfect fit for the macabre and eerie way in which Crimson Vial produces their songs. Although the tempo isn’t really high in this song, the continues soring of the guitars and bass, combined with deep and mesmerizing drums is well thought out. If I should name a negative, than the only thing I can think off, is that All In Vain isn’t a song that is packed with new influences or instruments. But when the general composition of the song is this well done and combined with the energy and talent of this 4 amazing musicians, than it’s not really negative. Why invent the wheel twice?

CONCLUSION

All in all I would say Crimson Vial is working really hard to create their own sound and with the release of All In Vain they have expanded their biography and added new material to their repertoire. But most importantly, this song is a perfect fit with their previous releases. I’m pretty sure these first singles of Crimson Vial will be the start of a long and successful future!
