Sadly, the organiser OSLO HARDROCK FESTIVAL has announced that WINTER METAL FEST 2022 has been cancelled due to new regulations and restrictions regarding the worldwide Covid Pandemic. The indoor festival, which was planned to take place in Norwegian Oslo, was supposed to be a two day event on the 28th and 29th of January 2022.
The preparations where well under way, and a lot of bands and artists where ready to hit the stages in Oslo, but sadly the Norwegian government decided different. Due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic, and the arrival of yet another new variaty of the covidvirus, the Norwegian government has imposed new restricting regulations, resulting in the cancellation of the 2022 edition of Winter Metal Fest.
For now the organisation of the 2-day festival is going to refund all tickets to those who bought one. Because of all the unknowns the future holds at this moment in time, Winter Metal Fest has not announced a new date yet. The organisation of the festival however, has made it clear that a new date WILL be picked in the near future.
