Hailing from India, Oracle’s Eye has released their debut single named A Thousand Doors. This four-piece outfit started out in August of 2020 as a project but grew into a full-fledged band and brings a Symphonic and Progressive mathcore sound. As of January of 2022 they took on the name Oracle’s Eye and were ready to let the world know they have arrived!
Following the musical path laid down by bands like Dream Theater, Tool, Opeth and the like, Oracle’s Eye aim to form their own sound combining named musical path with neo-classical melodies and classic symphonies.
The result is an impressive debut single to say the least. Long metal songs now a days have become a rarity, but Oracle’s Eye has done exactly that. A 14 minute track that takes you into a story that is being told in different styles but wonderfully well composed into one song. The voices are captivating, the music itself hits you in the core of your being and although the lyrics seem a little dark, they can be interpreted in different ways.
To say Oracle’s Eye has set a high standard for themselves is a true understatement. Just this one song has been released by these talented Indian guys but it makes the listener longing for more. The composition of the song is impressive and thought out, the lyrics are good and the overall feel of the song (to me) is it pulls you in to a dark story being told. I honestly can say, I am longing to hear more from Oracle’s Eye!
