Recordlabel Xenokorp has announced they will distribute the release of two (legendary) metal albums. For Putrid Offal this means the reissue of their album Premature Necropsy.
Established as a heavyweight ever since its debut split MLP with EXULCERATION in 1991, PUTRID OFFAL have always been a one-of-a-kind Death / Grind band mixing, for example, Gregorian chants in their unadulterated proto-Goregrind but it’s only after 2015 (comeback) debut full-length “Mature Necropsy” the band finally got the recognition they deserved.
Compiling all of their ’90s discography (1991 demo and split 7″ with Agathocles, 1991 split 12″ with Exculceration and 1992 six-way “Obscurum per obscurius“), Premature Necropsy got first released on CD in 2015 too through, now defunct, KAOTOXIN Records and it was about time it sees the light of the day on Vinyl and cassette (specifically remastered for the occasion) to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary.
The release is scheduled for the 10th of december 2021.
The second reissue Xenokorp will release is from Dead. The album is called Youll never know pleasure and is a reissue of their succes album, wich was originally released 25 years ago!
DEAD created Grindcore, Carcass Goregrind and Dead Porngrind with their ’93 debut 7″ but what really started it all for them is this now legendary debut You’ll Never Know Pleasure… originally released in 1995 through cult Poserslaughter Records (Nasum, Regurgitate, Haemorrhage).
A quarter of a century later, XENOKORP is proud to give this insane piece of Hardcore Punk-influenced Death / Grind fetishism a second life through a deluxe 25th anniversary remastered reissue on both CD and Vinyl with new layout by Lukasz Jaszak (Decapitated, Mortuary) and liner notes by professional journalist Olivier “Zoltar” Badin (New Noise, Zero Tolerance).
Both albums will be released in several formats through Xenokorp and will be released to the public on the 10th of December 2021! Keep an eye out for reviews on Maizter Underground for these albums!!
