French dark extreme metallers Otargos have announced their newest full length album! The seventh album of Otargos is called Fleshborer Soulflayer, will be released on the 10th of December 2021 thru recordlabel Xenokorp.
Marking the first studio recording with the band for new drummer Michael Martin (ex-EXOCRINE, ex-FLESHDOLL) and the return of former guitarist Astaroth that previously appeared on the band’s 2007 to 2011 recordings, Fleshborer Soulflayer pushes the band’s now trademark cosmic Blackened Death Metal sounding even further in terms of brutality, heaviness and deconstruction sounding like a space-time travel through a black hole!
Again produced at France’s Vamacara studio (Mercyless, Savage Annihilation etc), the album will be released on a variety of formats including CD, vinyl, cassette & digital versions with a first single / music video made available for preorders directly.
Otargos emerged back in 2001 in France. The name Otargos is an alteration from the ancient Greek words “O τράγος (O tragos, ie. the goat)”. These French metallers have released several full length albums, two live albums, and several other e.p.’s and compilations thus far and are now ready to release the latest addition to their repertoire.
